A Note To Teachers

I would have loved to have read this book with one of my 5th grade classes, perhaps the whole class near the end of the year…What great discussions we could have had! But I’m enjoying retired life now after 35+ years of teaching. The author of this book, Adventures In Time, is my sister, Arlene. She had a very successful career in the technical world of broadcast television for 33 years. So, you can imagine my surprise when she told me she was writing a children’s book! But after reading it and seeing how she used her imaginative spirit and great research skills in creating this delightful and appealing time travel adventure, I was wowed!
I contacted my longtime friend and school teammate, Lynne Meisch, who agreed to help put this study guide together. We'd advise middle-grade students (ages 10-14) for the content and challenging vocabulary, which includes scientific and historical references.
